Micromechanical resistive safety edge that is activated by the tension of a wire.

Suitably installed, safety edges are used to eliminate the risk of shearing
or crushing as they immediately block or invert any movement automatically.

The plug-in or 868 MHz radio connected control devices guarantee reliability
and intrinsic safety against any type of fault (e.g. damage or a short circuit)
to the extent of achieving the certification of SOFA and SOFB active edges
in category 2 of the EN 954-1 standard.
