The TRAFFIC C fast action door is Ditec’s safest and most technologically advanced high-speed fold-up door.
With the motor built-in to the casing, counterweighted balancing system, a choice of full or modular-sectional curtain and a range of safety options, the TRAFFIC C can be tailored to suit any specification.
The hot-galvanised steel frame houses and protects the whole traction unit, and as with all Ditec automations is available in versions with oven-baked epoxy coating with a smooth finish, or in stainless steel.
The canopy which houses the gearmotor has a height of just 190mm (200mm for TRAFFIC CM), so it can be fitted in areas where head room is restricted.
With the addition of a selection of safety and activation accessories, covers, a wide choice of curtain colours and thicknesses and window sections, the TRAFFIC C can be tailored to suit your needs.
As the TRAFFIC C has a counterweight, semi-automatic emergency opening can be achieved with the addition of an optional release handle.
The TRAFFIC C also boasts very high wind resistance, which can be upgraded further with the addition of wind bars.
For larger doors, the TRAFFIC CM is capable of a maximum opening dimension of 11 metres wide by 7 metres high, or up to 9 metres wide by 8.5 metres high.
IMPROVED WORKING CONDITIONS
OPTIMIZED PROCESS FLOW
The 400V motor, combined with counterweights, allows the door to open and close fast. With the INVERTERmotion, speed can be differentiated and increased up to 1.3 m/s.
ENERGY SAVINGS
The high operating speed avoids the doors remaining open longer than needed. Thus, the working environment remains stable and energy can be saved.
WIND RESISTANCE
Thanks to the reinforcement bars in the curtain, the Ditec Traffic C/CM withstands wind loads up to class 2. The fold-up principle makes sure doors can close even under heavy wind load.
SAFETY ASSURED
PROTECTION OF PEOPLE & GOODS
The self-testing, sensible bottom edge and the photocells or a light curtain detect possible obstacles and reopen the door when needed.
EMERGENCY OPENING
In case of emergency, a red handle can be turned to release the counterweight and open the door.

ITALIAN LOOKS
A Ditec Traffic C/CM door has a nicely finished doorframe. On the Traffic C, fully transparent sections are available for maximum visibility.
